KPW

In currencies, KPW is the abbreviation for the North Korean Won. The KPW is issued by the Central Bank of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. KPW is a derivative or cognate of the Chinese yuan and Japanese yen. In 1945, the KPW became the currency of North Korea replacing the Korean yen.
